Phase 2: Review & Selection
Multi-stage review process with eligibility screening, expert panel evaluation, and finalist selection for both tracks.
Eligibility Screening
Staff review all applications for basic eligibility. Applicants notified of eligibility status.
Expert Panel Review
Diverse panel of judges scores all eligible applications. Nonprofit and social enterprise tracks evaluated by respective partner organizations with shared judges across both tracks.
Finalist Selection
Finalists selected from each track. All finalists notified and briefed on the final event.
Finalist Showcase
Virtual showcase featuring finalists. Public visibility for innovative solutions.
Live Pitch Finalists Confirmed
Selected finalists confirmed to pitch live at the final event. All finalists receive briefing materials.
Phase 3: Final Event & Awards
Live pitch event where top finalists present to judges and winners are announced. A celebration of innovation in foster care.

First Disbursements
Initial grant funds transferred to nonprofit winners. Eagle Ventures finalizes terms with social enterprise winners.
Phase 4: Implementation
Awardees implement their innovations with milestone-based reporting and support as needed.
Implementation Begins
All winners begin executing their innovation plans with award funding.
Progress Check-ins
Regular check-ins with winners to track progress, address challenges, and provide support.
